So, in other words, yes, it's crude, it flies in the face
of a "web", which is anchor/link based. But in case you've
not read much lately, there are all kinds of good reasons
to be leery of links. Takes a lot of trust, and the people
of modern times give scary little reason to trust much of
anything they do.

So whatever you do, don't just trust the links shown in
the page at the above link.... ;-)

I thought about the same thing! Then, at work, I'm shouted down by all the
young whipper snappers with their git and markdown, and wikis. Yuck! ;)
